Form: TB restricted cattle: declare cleansing and disinfection in England, Scotland and Wales

To restore your herds officially TB free (OTF) status, youll need to complete the cleansing and disinfection declaration form (BT05) and send it to the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA).

With the removal of all bovine TB reactors and direct contact animals, you must cleanse and disinfect the:

  • premises
  • facilities
  • vehicles
  • equipment

For premises in England, email the completed form to CSC.TBBT5s@apha.gov.uk. Or you can post it to:

For premises in Scotland, email (preferred) the completed form to ScotlandEndemics@apha.gov.uk. Or you can post it to:

For premises in Wales, email the completed form to APHAWalesTBCaseManagementTeam@apha.gov.uk. Or you can post it to:

SA31 2NF

If you do not send the declaration to APHA, it may delay the removal of herd restrictions.

When visiting an affected farm, APHA inspectors may check that cleansing and disinfection has been completed as required.
