Details
In April 2021, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission began revisiting areas where we had significant concerns about SEND provision when we last inspected them. We began full SEND inspections to areas that have not yet been inspected under the new framework in June 2021.
Areas we will revisit
- Shropshire County Council, 21 to 23 November 2022 (take part in the Shropshire County Council survey to give your views from midday 14 November to midday 18 November 2022)
- Norfolk County Council, 28 to 30 November 2022 (take part in the Norfolk County Council survey to give your views from midday 21 November to midday 25 November 2022)
- Somerset County Council, 28 November to 1 December 2022 (take part in the Somerset County Council survey to give your views from midday 18 November to midday 25 November 2022)

Ofsted and CQC carry out inspections in line with the Local area special educational needs and disabilities inspection framework and Local area special educational needs and disabilities inspection handbook for inspectors.
