Defra and the Scottish Government developed the proposed FMP in partnership with Cefas, through stakeholder engagement.

This FMP sets out plans to maintain the long-term sustainable management of North Sea and Channel sprat stocks in English and Scottish waters.??

We are also seeking views on an environmental report, which describes the likely environmental impacts of the FMP.
