Competition Markets Authority
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is calling on consumers, businesses and other interested parties to share their views and experiences of buying or selling green heating or insulation products by responding to our questionnaires.
The responses will help inform our understanding of consumer protection issues in the green heating and insulation sector and, in particular, whether further steps or action is needed to help ensure consumers are treated fairly and businesses are supported to meet their obligations under consumer protection law.
We are carrying out this work under section 5 of the Enterprise Act 2002, which gives the CMA the power to obtain, compile and keep under review information about matters relating to its functions.
Consumers
The CMA wants to hear about your experience if youve bought or considered buying green heating/insulation products in the last 2 years
Businesses
The CMA wants to hear from you if your business sells / leases green heating and / or insulation products to consumers or installs these products in consumers homes
Other interested parties
The CMA wants to hear from other stakeholders with an interest in the sector (including trade bodies/associations, government bodies and regulators, consumer representative bodies, charities, consumer enforcement bodies, think tanks, and academics)
It is not possible to save your progress throughout the stakeholder questionnaire.
If you would like to review the questions before submitting them, they are available below to download:
You must submit your final response via the questionnaire for other stakeholders link above.
If you would also like to send information to us by email, please send this to: greenheating@cma.gov.uk
