Consultation outcome: Children's social care providers: fees and inspections 2024

Consultation description
This consultation seeks views on amendingHer Majestys Chief Inspector of Education, Childrens Services and Skills (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) (Childrens Homes etc.) Regulations 2015in relation to:
- a 20% increase on current fees payable by childrens social care providers (excluding supported accommodation), for those providers which are not already at full cost recovery
- an amendment to minimum inspection frequencies for childrens homes wherethere are no children accommodated in the home
It also seeks views on:
- amending the The Care Standards Act 2000 (Registration)(England) Regulations 2010 in relation to the disclosure of names and addresses for secure 16 to 19 academies and secure childrens homes (SCHs)
- future consultations in relation to fees payable to Ofsted by childrens social care providers
