Defra introduced flood and coastal resilience partnership funding in 2011 and updated it in 2020.
The aim of the partnership funding policy is to allow FCERM projects to share the costs using national and local sources of funding.
This guidance explains how to fill out the partnership funding calculator 2020. You can then work out how much FCERM grant-in-aid (GIA) funding a project is eligible for. You can also use it to find out how much partnership contributions you need.
It sets out the expectations, reasons for and limitations of the data that you need to fill out the partnership funding calculator 2020. It also helps you to decide how to provide that data, depending on your project stage and confidence in your data.
