Forestry Commission
Use this form to authorise an agent to act on behalf of a funding applicant or agreement holder. This form must also be used if you have a new agent acting on your behalf or if you want to make changes to an existing form.
You can submit this form if an agent is acting on your behalf for the following funding schemes and agreements Rural Payments permissions do not apply to these:
- legacy schemes: Farm Woodland Premium Scheme (FWPS), England Woodland Grant Scheme (EWGS), Farm Woodland Scheme (FWS), Woodland Carbon Fund (WCF)
- live FC Grants (grants open to new applications) other than Countryside Stewardship: England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO), HS2 Woodland Fund (HS2WF), Woodland Creation Planning Grant (WCPG), Urban Tree Challenge Fund (UTCF), Local Authority Treescapes Fund (LATF) Woodland Carbon Guarantee (WCaG), Tree Health Pilot (THP)
- felling licence applications
- woodland management plans
This form cannot be used for any other Countryside Stewardship applications. If you are applying for Countryside Stewardship then you should use the Rural Payments service to set the appropriate permission levels for the agent. It is your responsibility to let us know if your agent has changed or been removed from their responsibilities, and to ensure your agent details are up to date.
How to complete this form
Both the agent and the applicant/agreement holder(s) must sign this form.
You can sign this form in either of the following ways:
- electronically using a link which we will send you on request.
- with an original handwritten signature in ink (i.e. a wet signature)
If you wish to sign electronically please complete the form without a signature and date, and email it to us at aafes@forestrycommission.gov.uk. We will then email you a link to sign an online version of the form.
If you have signed the form by hand, please send your completed and signed form to the admin hub or team dealing with your agreement/application in one of the following ways:

- by emailing a scanned copy (PDF or JPEG files only)
