To bring the Migration Economic and Development Partnership (MEDP) with Rwanda and the Illegal Migration Act 2023 into operation, the Home Office has incurred a number of costs including:

  • payments to Rwanda
  • costs associated with flights to Rwanda
  • investment in reception centres and other fixed costs
