On 9 October 2019, Natural England submitted a collection of reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between Marsland Mouth and Newquay (MNQ).
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight on 4 December 2019. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections were considered before the Secretary of State made a final decision about the reports.

Outcome
On 9 July 2020, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for lengths MNQ1, MNQ3 to MNQ5 and MNQ7 to MNQ11.
On 7 July 2021, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for MNQ2, and MNQ6.
On 6 November 2024, the Port Isaac to Newquay (MNQ 7 to MNQ 11) section opened to the public.
Natural England will publish further details of the other approved sections in due course.
