The Laying Hen Housing for Health and Welfare grant is available for housing for laying hens and pullets. You can apply to replace or upgradeexisting laying hen or pullet housing (a comprehensive project) or add a veranda onto existing laying hen or pullet housing (a veranda-only project) to provide animal health and welfare benefits.
Youll soon be able to use our online checker to make an initial online application. We expect the checker to open at the end of June 2024.

If you meet all of the eligibility criteria, RPA may invite you to make a full application. The success of your application will depend on the score your project achieves (comprehensive projects only) and the number and value of applications we receive (comprehensive and veranda-only projects).
