Graduates are fundamental to the future success of the VOA and we are really excited by the skills and enthusiasm they bring. Our training program is structured towards maintaining our exceptional RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) success rate. This is boosted by access to experienced surveyors, counsellors and RICS assessors, and to the unmatched range of skills and knowledge already in the Agency.
The skills and experience gained as a VOA graduate enables people with potential to progress quickly to the senior levels of our organisation. Following the graduate scheme, we continue to support and develop people to excel. Our graduates also have access to training and development opportunities available to the surveying profession within government, and the wider civil service?.
Statement from Mary Hardman, the Chief Valuer of the VOA
As Chief Valuer and Head of the Surveying Profession in the VOA, I am responsible for ensuring we adhere to the highest professional and valuation standards. I couldnt hope to undertake this role without the support of over 500 Chartered Surveyors. Many of whom have been part of our long established and industry leading Graduate Programme a programme I am very proud of.
