We wish to make the veterinary surgeons aware that Nova Laboratories Ltd have initiated a Class II recall for all strengths of the unlicensed medicine, Ronidazole capsules as mentioned below:

This is due to a recall by the manufacturer of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), Ronidazole, who have been instructed to recall 2 batches of the API during a competent authority inspection of their facility. This is due to the quality of the product not being guaranteed.

Nova Laboratories Ltd is contacting veterinary surgeons to examine inventory and quarantine products subject to this recall.
