Animal Plant Health Agency
Details The monthly report is a summary of disease data gathered by the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA ) Veterinary Investigation Centres.
It is part of the disease surveillance system that is used to monitor new diseases in cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry, and to monitor changing trends in existing diseases.
A similar report is produced for Scotland by the Scottish Agricultural Colleges Veterinary Services Division (SACVSD ).
