You need to apply for a capital grants plan before you can use and claim this capital item.
Once you have your agreement, complete the agroforestry plan template to:
- create detailed maps of your land holding
- record all existing habitats and features
- consider how you can maximise the benefits and manage the risks of your planned agroforestry system
Use the field parcel template to map and plan agroforestry systems for each of the field parcels on your land holding.
The maps and completed templates will be your agroforestry plan.
Before you make a claim for payment, you must contact your local Forestry Commission office to get your templates approved by the Forestry Commission or Natural England.

Submit a claim for payment using the Rural Payments service or a claim form.
Submit your maps and approved templates by post or email to the Rural Payments Agency (RPA):
